New York Times: Democrats to Go It Alone on Health Care; Obama to be TOAST in 2012.

ATLANTA— Drudge is reporting that Democrats have decided to go it alone on health-care.  They believe this is their only hope if they want to see this ideological, fiscally-reckless, and generally negligent health-care bill get passed.   Rest assured this will kill Barack Obama’s chances in 2012.  After all, didn’t he say he was running for office to heal the partisan divide?   What is he possibly going to campaign on in 2012?  My guess is that this move will further hurt him in the polls.  He isn’t listening to the American people!

What amazes me about the party leadership, though, is why do they think any fence-sitting Democrat would now want to abandon bipartisanship and vote for a bill that is tanking in the polls and which the Congressional Budget Office is telling us will sink our nation in unending mounds of debt and unfunded obligations?  

This is madness!!

The good news is that I don’t think it will work…
