The China Bubble

BECKLEY — As many of you know I’m pretty long on China as an investment and am constantly looking for more investments in China either through ADR’s or directly on the Hong Kong Exchange.  However, there is a very interesting view espoused by James Chanos on Charlie Rose that sounds pretty counter my views.  Even going so far as to say he was shorting segments of the Chinese market.   I want to watch the full video here when I get some time.  If anybody get’s to it before me let me know your thoughts.  Also, there is an interesting discussion here that is counter Chanos.   Either way it makes for an interesting debate and what-if analysis and most importantly how could either views affect America and the global economy.  Here’s a clip of Chanos on Rose:
