LONG BEACH— Word is making its way around Capitol Hill. ObamaCare has more penalties than previously released.
After inquiring about the punishment for a citizen not buying insurance under the ObamaCare plan, Rep John Ensign of Nevada was informed that the citizen is required to pay a $1,900 “fee.” If the citizen didn’t pay the “fee,” said citizen would be subject to misdemeanor charges, upto one year in prison, or a $25,000 fine.
“If you like your current health care, you can keep it.” Mr. Obama says. What if one likes their current health care, but it doesn’t measure up to Mr. Obama’s idea of “health care coverage?”

Nonetheless, I wonder how many of these people without insurance realize what may well be coming down the pipes to them? TP was telling me he was in a conversation with some very angry Obama-voting, Bush-hating independents the other day. They were angry at these provisions and angry that Obama was trying to justify them.
But you are right about the hamburgers. If nothing else, VAT’s will likely become commonplace- depending on how they are structured, we’ll see consumer prices go up across the board. …if not from VAT’s then at least from the Obamaflation that will be hitting our shores in a year or two…
