LONG BEACH— Below is the latest video of public school children being taught to praise the new president, Barack Obama.
And to balance this missive, next you will see the film from 2001 of public school kids taught to praise former president George W Bush.

This makes my stomach turn.
If this doesn’t scare the hell out of anyone who sees it, it should. I’m surprised that there is not a huge poster of Obama’s smiling face somewhere on the wall, along with the emblem that we saw on his campaign plane – and uniforms on the kids.
Where was this “public school” located?
I heard that the school is in New Jersey
Two words…
Government education.
I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often. I guess these teachers are just getting such large shares of the 1 trillion dollars we spend on education each year that they’ve lost their minds or something! After all 1 trillion divided by the 3 million teachers is $333,333 per teacher. These teachers have just become lazy fat cats under Obama and all his spending…
No, wait that would make sense but isn’t reality. In reality government education is an oxymoron and not logical. These teachers think all the changes (what changes?) Obama is making to the school system will mean their jobs will be easier and teachers will make more money which isn’t reality and doesn’t make sense. In line with the concept of government education.
FT: I don’t think I can buy into your hasty generalization of public schools and public school teachers. Not that I am a huge fan of the system, but I don’t think every one in it is a “lazy fat cat” who believes Obama will make their jobs “be easier” and “teachers will make money.”
I was joking. Saying Obama has given them so much, but what has Obama given them??? Nothing really! I can’t think of much of anything he has done for education. Take away the voucher program but that was actually improving education where it was being tested…. I don’t think that teachers per see are lazy fat cats. Actually, I think they are underpaid, under appreciated, individuals who work in a system that makes their job nearly impossible forcing them to dumb down the education of our nations youth this system is government education.
After all 1 trillion divided by the 3 million teachers is $333,333 per teacher.
Additionally, this is fuzzy math at best. There are additional services and needs for the education system, buildings, buses, electricity, water, gas, land, teaching materials, desks, chairs, and the list goes on… I haven’t met a teacher yet who believes all increases in spending go directly to teachers.
Yes, that was my point as well. Teachers don make $300k a year that is silly (I meant it as silly). They’re lucky if they make $40k instead that money goes to computer systems that don’t work, teaching materials that aren’t competitive, and a list of governmental forced waste in between.
Humor, it’s hard to get to come across in the written word!!!
Gotcha.
But some school districts make considerably more than $40K a year…
It happens quite a bit actually, just not this overtly. The leftist bias of schools is disturbing.
Of course, the very fact that it was taped means they saw nothing at all wrong with it.
My oldest son has an advanced degree and came out of academia with a decidedly Leftist orientation. Fortunately, he has been out in the world long enough to begin to gravitate toward a Libertarian view but he and I are still not anywhere near being on the same page politically.
My younger son focused on an education that provided him with a degree in Graphic Design from a career-oriented school and was thereby spared the Leftist indoctrination that seems to go hand-in-glove with a Liberal Arts curriculum these days.
Thanks for the info, TBC ….. FOX News had some coverage this morning that revealed that the production was part of a presentation put together for Black History Month this past year and that some songs about other Presidents (George Bush was not one of them, but George Washington was, along with some other notables) were included.
I’m still not comfortable with it, given our current President’s propensity for hubris.
