LONG BEACH— America could use a Health Care makeover, but Americans are overwhelmingly opposed to the partisan track Mr. Obama has presented.
This news was report today in an Associated Press poll. Nearly half the nation (49%) is against the current bill(s) in congress, barely a third approve. This is bad news for the speechmaestro.
Not only is he losing in the health care debate, 52% of America, strikingly close to the voting results in November, now disapprove of his handling of the economy. Deficits have trippled since he has taken office and are projected to surpass the national debt total over the course of the next 8 years due to his proposed spending. This fact is not lost on the American public with a secure majority (56%) upset with Mr. Obama’s performance.
Overall the future isn’t as bright for Mr. Obama. Nearly half the nation (49%) disapprove of his job as a president.
Is there hope for the Hope Prophet? Certainly.
Nearly 80% of the nation wants a bi-partisan effort. That would mean dropping the Public Option and picking up tort reform and cross state purchases of insurance, and basically, fiscal responsibility.
Tonight we will see if Mr. Obama will fight for America, or fight for his ideology.
