LONG BEACH— With each passing day it appears Mr. Obama’s olive branches are being routinely used as switches to smack him across the face.
It is getting really bad. Mr. Obama went to the Middle East to apologize on behalf of a population of people who felt there was nothing to apologize for. Since then Iran has “re-elected” an aggressive anti-American president who routinely threatens to annihilate a close ally of our country.
But this is just the half of it.
Mr. Obama’s open armed apologetic tone has certainly been viewed as weak by North Korea. The actions of Kim Jung Il and his regime appear to imply North Korea sees Mr. Obama and his regime as the weakest leader since Jimmy Carter. Since Mr. Obama came into office and offered North Korea a hug and a cookie, North Korea has detonated a nuclear bomb, tested fired long range missiles, publicly announced a move to weaponize uranium, taken American hostages, and threatened nuclear war.
Perhaps Kim Jung Il is upset that Mr. Obama’s economic policies of exponential currency printing and hyper inflation are ruining North Korea’s counterfeit bill industry.
What ever the reason for Iran and North Korea’s billegerant stance towards the United States of America it has become increasingly obvious that the Axis of Evil doesn’t respond in kind when the military option is taken off the table.
